Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their fifth
wedding anniversary — and their twins’ second birthday — by renewing their vows
at Disneyland.
“I love you @Nick Cannon shut down Disneyland, Carey
tweeted on their way to the California theme park Tuesday evening.
Carey posted video on Twitter of her grand entrance
with daughter Monroe in the park’s horse-drawn Crystal Carriage. After arriving
on Main Street, they were met by Cannon and son Moroccan. Together, the family
of four walked to the Sleeping Beauty Castle, where Carey and Cannon renewed
their vows before 250 guests, according to “Entertainment Tonight.”
The ceremony’s theme was “Do you believe in fairy
tales?”
The ceremony concluded with fireworks and was
followed by a reception in Fantasyland, where Cannon played deejay. Guests also
had access to some of the theme park’s rides.
Earlier in the day, Carey and Cannon celebrated
their twins’ birthdays with Mickey and Minnie Mouse before mom and daughter
changed into ruffled white dresses and dad and son donned matching princely
attire.
