The Nigerian broadcasting community has been thrown
into mourning with the sad and shocking demise of one of their own, Kirk
Anthony Derrick, Programmes Director of Smooth 98.1FM Lagos. Kirk reportedly
collapsed on Friday night after his shift. He has been confirmed DEAD.
He will be sorely missed for his invaluable contributions to the radio station while he was there. Kirk was born in Jamaica and had already made a home and friends for himself before his untimely death. We mourn his loss.
