Toyin Hamzat, a former chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area of Lagos State, has been murdered.
He was assassinated early Monday morning on his way back to his house in Sagamu, after a party in Lagos.
Officials at the Ikeja Local Government Area, where Mr. Hamzat once presided, confirmed the incident.
A police source said they strongly suspect assassination.
“Nothing was touched in his car,” the source said.
