Pastor kills Church Member, Gives A Testimony, And Refuses to Pay Condolence.

A friend sent in this story to me this morning, after reading the story i felt so diver-stated,weak and sad.My entire day has almost come to an halt after hearing and reading this story.A vibrant young life cut short in its prime. How could someone who calls himself a man of God do such?this is the question i keep asking myself.Read full story below:

How more tragic can an event be that a pastor knocks his church member to death.  In the early hours of Tuesday, 15th January 2013, any one would sympathize at the thought of how such a man of God would weep haven killed a sheep under his watch. But that could not be said in the case of Ogochukwu Ndubisi the deceased versus Pastor Wilson Akubo.

An eye witness at the scene of the accident narrated that the deceased was standing by the road side waiting to board a vehicle to work when the pastor got so distracted as to not realize how much he was speeding, and suddenly lost control of his car, and in an attempt to avoid hitting others cars, swerved off the road and killed the deceased on the spot. Though the pastor’s car was greatly damaged further proving his speed level, he however came out unhurt.

They family is more saddened by the fact that from the 15th of January since the event occurred till date, they have never set their eyes on Pastor Wilson the killer. All they got were mere text messages and delegates who came to the funeral but never identified themselves to the family and afterwards claimed a little scene occurred prompting their immediate exit. However, one at the funeral could remember anything of sort. Pastor Wilson was even found rendering a testimony of how God saved him from an accident but failed to mention how his carelessness send a promising young church member six feet below. Of a true his presence won't restore life to the deceased, but the most remorse is expected of a Pastor.  Rather he has shown greater lack of concern and sympathy to the bereaved family.

Some family members who visited Pastor Wilson in a hospital in Abuja recalled their disbelief when they entered Pastor Wilson’s room to meet him in person, only to find him watching ‘African Magic’ and discussing with loud laughter with his wife, the humor portrayed by the popular Nigerian comedian ‘Osuofia’. Even when he realized that the family members of the deceases were there to see him, he had to wait on their request to turn down the volume of the TV and give them audience, claiming the comedy movie was doctor’s advice. I could only imagine how much the family wished their decease would receive such “doctor’s advice” to watch comedy and not go down the grave.   Pastor Wilson had since left the comedy clinic and still didn’t consider a 3 hour trip from Abuja to Jos to see the Ndubisi family.

The loss of a 25 year old son to a family, whom the parents have invested so much towards his education, is never an easy pill to swallow. Ogochukwu  Ndubisi the deceased was to travel to the UK this year for his masters programme.

I was told the name of the Church is Family Worship Center, located at Royal Family Academy Auditorium,Plot  648 Gidado Idris way by Ministry of Finance Quarters Wuse District Abuja Nigeria. The accident happened along Abuja airport road.

Please anyone out there to help bring this man of God to book.
